Maëlle VABRE : Bonjour Pauline PÉCHEUX, en quoi consiste votre métier de scripte au quotidien de manière pratique ?

Pauline PÉCHEUX : Le métier de scripte consiste à être garant de la continuité du film. Un film est tourné par petit bout, et dans le désordre, chaque scène est comme une pièce d’un puzzle, à la fin du puzzle, il ne doit manquer aucune pièce et elles doivent être toute en accord. Au niveau chronologie, les personnages, (costumes, émotion…), les décors, l’intrigue, tout doit être pensé dans la globalité du film. Tout dois s’enchainer correctement. Le métier est très riche, la scripte est le bras droit du réalisateur. On collabore avec l’équipe artistique et technique : de l’accessoiriste au machino. Tous les corps de métier se réfèrent a un moment donné à la scripte.

M.V : Quel conseil donneriez-vous à une plus jeune version de vous-même qui débute dans le métier de scripte ?

P.P : Le conseil pour les plus jeunes : savoir être précis, avoir le sens de l’observation et de l’organisation ainsi qu’une bonne mémoire. Mais tout s’apprend sur les tournages, c’est la pratique qui est importante, donc foncez faire des courts-métrages, faites des stages et ne lâchez rien !

M.V : Pour vous quel est l’aspect le plus difficile de votre métier ?

P.P : L’aspect difficile, mais plaisant aussi, c’est l’adaptation à chaque projet, à chaque collègue, à chaque acteur. Le métier est vaste, il faut savoir s’adapter (rapidement) à la méthode de chacun (et surtout à celle du réalisateur) pour mener à bien nos différentes tâches.
